ODI is an advocate for greater accountability and transparency in the international development sector, and we strive to reflect these values across our work.
How are we funded?
ODI is supported by grants and donations from foundations, non-governmental organisations, the private sector, governments, multilateral agencies and academia.
Our commitment to transparency
ODI has committed to publish data under the International Aid Transparency Initiative (IATI) standard. We will start from the period ending December 2015 and will then publish data each quarter, once our accounts have closed. Unless there is a real risk to safety or our work, we will publish information on all projects.
This data will be available on the IATI registry, and we will publish it both as an XML file and in a more accessible, user-friendly format.
ODI is a registered charity, and is regulated by the Charity Commission and Companies House. You can find more detailed information on our finances and compliance history on the Charity Commission and Companies House websites.
ODI also has a wholly owned trading subsidiary (ODI Sales Limited) which publishes audited financial statements each year. Our accounts and filings for this entity are also available to download below. View more detailed information on the Companies House website.
