John Cox is a social anthropologist currently at the University of Melbourne who has worked across the Pacific region for more than 25 years as a development practitioner and scholar. His work explores the intersections between local aspirations for development, national political economies, and international programs that seek to address governance, gender equality, community development and climate adaptation.
