Lewis Sida is the Co-Director of the Humanitarian Learning Centre at IDS and has more than 25 years’ experience leading complex, high-profile humanitarian reviews and evaluations on policy and operations for donors, UN agencies and NGOs, including the recent Inter-Agency Humanitarian Evaluation of Yemen. He has extensive experience of IDP and displacement situations, from working directly with IDPs as a frontline aid worker, being a team member of Dennis McNamara’s IDP review in the late 1990s and conducing in-depth research on displacement.
