This informal event at the 2012 climate change conference in Doha (UNFCCC) provided a forum to exchange views on improving transparency and effectiveness of climate finance.

The discussion was be framed by insights from our growing body of work on these questions, including a recent series on the UK, US, Japanese and German (forthcoming) fast start finance contributions coordinated by ODI and WRI, work by CPI analyzing the landscape of climate finance in global and national contexts, and insights from the San Giorgio Group case studies on the effectiveness of climate finance.
