The Humanitarian Policy Group (HPG), at the Overseas Development Institute (ODI), held a closed roundtable event on Sudan. 

The following speakers led discussions:

• Dr Al-Tijani Seisi, Chairman of the Darfur Regional Authority, and

• Dr Amin Hassan Omer, State Minister at the Presidency, responsible for the Darfur portfolio.

Dr Al-Tijani Seisi, who was involved in the April 2013 Donors' Conference in Doha, and Dr Amin Hassan Omer, who was involved in the signing of an April 2013 peace deal with an influential faction of the Justice and Equality Movement (JEM) are two prominent Sudanese government figures.

The meeting was chaired by the head of the Humanitarian Policy Group, Dr. Sara Pantuliano.
