As UN member states gather for the second drafting session of the Financing for Development outcome document, ODI is holding a reception to mark the launch of our major new report, Financing the future.
This flagship report sets out the requirements for a new global social compact in the era of the Sustainable Development Goals. It discusses how we can finance social protection, universal health coverage and education for all, and specifically the role of international public finance in supporting country efforts to deliver this goal.
Join us for an informal reception following the first day of negotiations for a short overview of the report’s findings and key recommendations. Refreshments will be served.
