Description
Described as a protection crisis by the UN, civilians in Iraq have been subjected to mass executions, systematic rape and other shocking acts of violence.
This event charts the rise of IS and examines the effect of political fragmentation on the humanitarian environment. Launching the latest issue of the Humanitarian Exchange on Iraq, speakers will explore the challenges to providing aid and improving protection for civilians caught up in the violent conflict.
