Evaluation of Norway’s advocacy activities
Funded by the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (Norad), RAPID is working with the Swedish Institute for Public Administration to evaluate the Norwegian government’s advocacy activities between 2005 and 2014.
The evaluation examines the relevance, effectiveness and sustainability of Norad’s investments – including direct advocacy engagements through diplomatic and non-diplomatic channels, as well as indirect advocacy through funding United Nations and civil society advocacy programmes. The evaluation focuses on four case studies relating to maternal and child health; education; women, peace and security; and illicit financial flows and tax havens.
This project contributes to RAPID’s second outcome, Making research and evaluation more useful.
