How do I apply for a position?

We post all opportunities on the ODI website. Select which position you would like to apply for and submit an online application.

Does ODI accept CVs?

Unfortunately due to the high volume of applicants ODI receives we are unable to accept CVs. 

Is there a deadline for applications?

Closing date for applications are specified on each advert.

If a position that I am looking for isn’t currently being advertised can I apply anyway?

Register for job alerts and ODI will email you when your preferred role becomes available.

How will I be updated on the progress of my application?

You can log into your application and follow its progress throughout the recruitment process.

Does ODI provide visa sponsorship for overseas workers?

ODI can apply for a certificate of sponsorship for a skilled job only. ODI must confirm to the Home Office that the candidate has completed a resident labour market test as set out in the relevant code of practice and cannot fill the post with a qualified settled worker.

How do I apply for an internship at ODI?

Internships are managed separately by each of the programmes within ODI. Please email the relevant Programme Officer directly to express your interest in an internship – enclose your CV, describe your area of specialism or interest, and state your availability (including whether full-time or part-time). Please note that to apply for an internship you must be a postgraduate with a relevant MA/MSc or occasionally even a PhD.

Does ODI offer work experience opportunities?

Unfortunately ODI is unable to offer work experience opportunities.
