How do I apply for a position?

We post all opportunities on our online job application system. Select which position you would like to apply for and submit an online application.

Is there a deadline for applications?

Closing date for applications are specified on each advert and are at midnight UK time.

Once I start completing an application for a job is there a time limit?

Once you start your application you have 7 days to complete it, otherwise the system will automatically delete it. Please ensure to check the application deadline in the advertisement which may be earlier than 7 days. We recommend starting your application at a point you feel comfortable to finish it within 7 days.

How will I be updated on the progress of my application?

You can log into your application and follow its progress throughout the recruitment process.

Can I send my CV or apply for a job via email to be considered for future roles?

Unfortunately, we are unable to accept speculative applications but please continue to visit our website for all our current opportunities. Also, we do not accept CV’s as a means of application, please apply online, as we ask all applicants to do this in interest of fairness.

I applied for a job and got a rejection email; can I find out why?

Many apologies but due to the high volume of applications received, we are unable to give feedback on individual applications but please continue to visit our website for all our current opportunities.

I tried to apply for a job but got an error message instead.

Please contact us on [email protected] and we will be able to assist.

I have registered on the job portal and submitted my application, but it still says it's not submitted.

Please make sure you verified your account by clicking on the link in the verification email. Your application will not be submitted until your account is verified

Does ODI provide visa sponsorship for overseas workers?

ODI is able to provide work sponsorship for appointable candidates however we cannot guarantee that this would be successful as it is at the Home Office’s discretion in line with their regulations.

How do I apply for an internship at ODI?

Internships are managed separately by each of the programmes within ODI. Please email the relevant Programme Officer directly to express your interest in an internship. Enclose your CV, describe your area of specialism or interest, and state your availability (including whether full-time or part-time).

Does ODI offer work experience opportunities?

Unfortunately, ODI is unable to offer work experience opportunities.

I have registered to the job’s portal, but I have not received a verification email?

Please check your Junk mail, as our emails initially might go there. You can also request for the verification email to be resent to you by choosing this option in the 'Account' tab.

I don’t want to receive job alerts anymore.

In order to unsubscribe from the job alerts you can log into your account Job Alerts tab where you can switch off notifications or adjust them for specific roles.
