In keeping with ODI tradition, these meetings promise to be stimulating discussions at which academics, policy makers and practitioners will have the opportunity to share their points of view.
The first meeting, ‘Do Big Plans Help Big Numbers? Lessons and Challenges in HIV/AIDs’, was fully booked. Speakers from World Health Organisation (WHO); the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR); UNAIDS; Western Cape Department of Health, South Africa; The Lighthouse Trust, Malawi; and the International HIV/AIDS Alliance created a stimulating debate.
