Aaron Bailey-Athias

Aaron is a Senior Communications Officer at ODI working as a thematic comms lead on issues relating to technology and digitalisation. He is currently working mainly in two projects managed by the Digital Societies programme: the Youth Forward Learning Partnership and the Development and Economic Growth Research Programme. He has a MA degree in Media and International Development from UEA and years of experience in communications in the non-profit sector.

Prior to joining ODI, Aaron was a Digital Communications Officer at UK health charity Brain & Spine Foundation and before then, a Communications Intern at UNDP’s International Policy Centre for Inclusive Growth in Brasilia, Brazil.

His academic background in communications includes a BA in Journalism and a BTech in Graphic Design. He also has a master’s degree in Media and International Development from the University of East Anglia.

In the past, he has worked for The International Exchange, a social enterprise providing expert volunteer support to local NGOs and INGOs working on youth employment, gender inequality as well as social and environmental issues.
