Description

People and our planet face multiple and increasingly complex threats. Vulnerable communities in the poorest countries navigate these threats, exacerbated by the Covid-19 pandemic. From environmental degradation including climate change, increasing economic and financial instability, to the increasing spread of organised crime and conflict, pandemics and antibiotic resistance. We must be better equipped if we want to deliver on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

As part of the United Nations General Assembly’s SDG Action Zone, we explore risks vulnerable populations face, their transboundary nature and how decision making can be reimagined to build resilience as a result of Covid-19 and beyond.

Please note, this session is being hosted on the United Nation General Assembly's SDG Action Zone.
