​The focus of this roundtable will be on how to take forward a land transparency initiative, building on the discussions and activities held during the G8 Summit this year. Key questions will include: what do the discussions at Lough Erne and since mean for global coordination on land transparency?  How are different country partnership agreements between G8 members and partner countries shaping up? What are the opportunities and challenges in building a global level land transparency initiative?

Presentations will include lessons from an ODI report on the lessons from existing transparency initiatives for an LTI, and an update from DfID on how the UK government has taken forward discussions since the G8 summit.
