The global climate policy conference 2014

Date
Time (GMT +01) 00:00 23:59

Description

With 18 months left to deliver a global agreement in Paris (COP21) to tackle climate change, we are taking a closer look at the issues stymieing negotiations and ways to break the deadlock. The conference agenda has been informed by submissions and contributions from leading climate change thinkers across the world and includes key topics related to sustainable development, green growth, mitigation and adaptation, equity, finance, trade and more.

The GCPC’s aim is to bring together researchers and analysts from academia and think-tanks, together with negotiators and other practitioners to identify new economic, social and political ideas and analysis to help move the negotiations forward, in particular so that the concerns and interests of developing countries are addressed. The conference proceedings and contributions will be disseminated in a special publication “The State of International Climate Policy”.
