Description

The Sustainable Development Goals have finally been agreed upon and the international development community is entering a new and ambitious era.

This parliamentary event will be an opportunity to discuss what role the UK can and should play in achieving the new goals and targets. We will present an overview of ODI's flagship report which projects progress for all 17 goals, showing where – if current trends continue – the world will be in 2030. A perspective from a Ugandan partner organisation will be offered, and international development spokespeople from the three biggest parliamentary parties will outline their views on what the UK should do next.
