Leah is currently leading a piece of research about how humanitarians understand and respond to the complexities of urban contexts, and also working with ALNAP Head of Research Paul Knox Clarke on research about coordination and decision-making. She also facilitates the Urban Community of Practice and webinar series. Leah has conducted research in Ghana, India, the Philippines and Lebanon and is originally from Canada. She holds an M.A. Development & Emergency Practice from Oxford Brookes University, B.A. Hons International Studies from York University, Professional Certificate in Emergency Management from York University and Diploma of Community Work from George Brown College.
