Caitlin completed her PhD in social dimensions of health, and her doctoral research focused on social determinants of health among urban refugee women. She has conducted research in Jordan, Malaysia, Turkey, Sierra Leone, South Africa, and Uganda on issues related to health and forced displacement. Prior to joining ODI she worked with UNHCR.
Caitlin Wake has in-depth knowledge of social dimensions of health and she is available to comment on issues such as the Ebola outbreak and the Rohinga refugee crisis.
