Senior Research Officer
Dina Mansour-Ille is a Senior Research Officer within the Politics and Governance Programme at the Overseas Development Institute. Her expertise and background is in human rights, migration, forced displacement, social conflict and social movements with a particular focus on the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) and Europe within the context of migration and forced displacement.

She holds a PhD in Politics, Human Rights and Sustainability and an MA in International Human Rights Law. She has over 10 years of experience working in academic and policy research, research management, civil society, and international advocacy. A former diplomat, Dina has also worked in public policy and diplomacy. Her research further focuses on gender, religion, socioeconomic vulnerability, and cultural and social norms in the MENA region, particularly in Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan, Syria, Palestine, and Tunisia. 


Dina is fluent in English, Arabic and German.
