Antoine is an empirical economist. His current work spans a range of topics including migration, inequality, and public finance. He is a part of the ODI team working on MIDEQ, a migration research project aiming to transform existing narratives and policy approaches to migration through establishing an interdisciplinary, evidence-based understanding of the relationships between South-South migration, inequality and development. He also conducts empirical analysis for the Sustainable Livelihoods Research Consortium using survey data and is providing technical assistance on improving budget transparency to the Government of Mali through ODI’s Budget Strengthening initiative.

Prior to joining ODI Antoine was an ODI Fellow in the National Statistical Agency in Sierra Leone where he supported the completion of the 2018 Integrated Household Survey. Previously he worked in private consultancy advising public entities to use analytic approaches to problem solving. He holds a Master in Economics and Econometrics from the Toulouse School of Economics and a Bachelor in Economics and Finance from the University of Melbourne.
