
Yue Cao
Yue’s current projects include working within the PAGER-O international consortium to improve disaster risk reduction in China, researching how bureaucrats utilise scientific and local knowledge in resilience policy making processes. He is also reviewing the evidence on the transformative effect of climate investments towards low-carbon, resilient development for the Climate Investment Funds.
Prior to joining ODI, Yue worked in infrastructure analysis with the ITRC consortium at Oxford University, as well as with China Policy - an advisory company in Beijing - and T.wai - an Italian think tank - researching the political economy of China’s energy and economic sectors.
Yue holds an MSc in Environmental Change and Management from the University of Oxford.
