Outcome mapping

Emerging from our long-term engagement to understand policy processes, the RAPID team developed the RAPID Outcome Mapping Approach (ROMA),  a method to help organisations and practitioners to create strategies for evidence-informed policy influencing. This six-step approach incorporates RAPID’s research and lessons on knowledge and policy processes into traditional Outcome Mapping. The approach can help organisations to plan and make better strategic decisions for policy influence, monitor changing political landscapes and learn throughout the process.  ROMA is now used by researchers, NGOs, community projects and funders around the world. RAPID is a key partner in the Outcome Mapping Learning Community, an online network of over 4000.
