Direct access to climate change financing

Under this project the we are conducting a stocktaking of current forms of direct access in order to establish what the term “direct access” means in practice and what lessons could be used to inform a scaling up of direct access in future climate change funds. Additionally, an analysis of the types of country institutions that are applying for direct access and their strengths and weaknesses will be done. Finally, recommendations on a direct access modality within the Green Climate Fund will be provided.
