Impacts of climate change on children in South Africa
The aim of the project was to provide a desk review assessing the evidence of the impacts of climate change on children in case study areas of South Africa.
The study analyses the likely impacts of climate change on children in South Africa, by building evidence around children’s vulnerability and the adaptive capacity of their families, communities and society as a whole. In doing so, the study also analyses the country’s national policy response to examine whether children’s issues are sufficiently considered and addressed.
