They aim to capture information about the adolescents in the sample and their caregivers, families and wider communities, and form the basis for monitoring changes across the lifespan of the GAGE programme. The questions probe for information in the six capability areas identified in the GAGE conceptual framework – education, health and nutrition, economic empowerment, psychosocial well-being, voice and agency, and violence and bodily integrity – as well as certain additional categories. The core respondent survey includes sections on education; health and nutrition; psychosocial well-being; voice, agency and mobility; economic empowerment, information and communication technologies; marriage and relationships; and violence. The adult female and adult male surveys include sections on the household; family background; dwelling characteristics; access to credit; role in household decision making; and attitudes and social norms. The community/school surveys include sections on community characteristics; schools; health facilities; religion; and gender practices.Read the research Adult female module Adult male module Community module Core respondent moduleRelated Jordan baseline survey 2017/18Questionnaires developed for the GAGE baseline data collection in 2017/2018 in Jordan.Toolkits2 February 2020 Ethiopia baseline survey 2017/18Questionnaires developed for the GAGE baseline data collection in 2017/2018 in Ethiopia.Toolkits30 January 2020 The lives they lead: exploring the capabilities of Bangladeshi and Rohingya adolescents in Cox's Bazar, BangladeshHeadline findings across six core capability domains that explore the experiences of adolescents in refugee and host communities.Briefing papers1 December 2019See more:adolescent girlschildhood and youthleave no one behindBangladesh
