A review commissioned as part of the UK Government’s Foresight Project on Global Food and Farming Futures. The essay is about food security and nutrition and their converse, loosely termed ‘hunger’. Given that most of those suffering from food insecurity and malnutrition live in developing countries, the focus is on these countries.
