There has been increased research on the effects of DFIs generally and on job creation more specifically, but less on the impact on structural transformation.
There are a number of methods that try to measure the impact of DFIs on job-creation effects and structural transformation. This paper discuss these approaches and examine the advantages and disadvantages of each.
