Dan was ODI’s Public Affairs Manager, with responsibility for public affairs and media. He advises the senior leadership and research teams on external engagement, government relations and stakeholder management with a view to maximising impact.

Dan also coordinates ODI's participation in the European Think Tanks Group (ETTG) and ODI's Distinguished Fellows programme.

Before joining ODI, he managed external relations across Europe for a non-profit global health research organisation; led campaigns for an international development advocacy organisation; and worked as researcher to a Member of the UK Parliament's International Development Committee. He holds a Bachelors in Law and Masters in Political Science, both from the University of Edinburgh.
